“I grew up in Austin, and have spent lots of time exploring the hill country of central Texas. I can tell you there is nothing else like this gem property anywhere in area. Staying at Wahwahtaysee Resort is truly a one of a kind experience. The property sits on a georgeous pecan grove that lines the banks of the beautiful aquamarine waters of the San Marcos river. With river side beaches to lounge on and enjoy the beautiful scenes of the property’s vast picturesque natural surroundings. The tents are located up on the hill on the property, with a large tipi area overlooking the river. These safari tents are truly a custome creation of unique elegance. The property is incredible, and the accommodations create a feeling like you are in a 5-Star luxury resort in some far away European country. This is by far the most unique place I’ve been in central Texas, they truly thought of everything. The location is so convenient, just a short drive from downtown Austin. We will be back!!!”

“This place is awesome!! Luxury “glamping”!! We had such a great time. The place was sparkling clean and the hospitality was beyond great. Sammy and Donald were always available when we had any questions. We were very impressed with the set up of everything. The river was within walking distance and it was a great scenic escape from home. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
